Luxury designers like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada and Gucci  and name brands like Gap, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Soft Surroundings, J Crew have the highest and fastest sell-thru rate.

Luxury Designer brands that are in the best condition usually sell more quickly than those showing more wear. If you have your Box or Dust Bag to consign along with your luxury items that can increase your resale selling price to help you earn more.

For brands we call “every day” or “closet essentials” such as Gap, J Crew, Kate Spade, Soft Surroundings, Chico’s, etc. items that are considered trending, three years old or newer and are in excellent condition are highly sought after by customers.

We will consider vintage items if they are Luxury Designer pieces like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Christian Louboutin, etc. Customer buying habits show us that these vintage pieces will sell if they are in good quality condition.

Luxury and Quality brands retain their value the most and customers continue to show this through their buying habits.

How do we price our consignment items?

Our pricing strategy is based on what is selling currently in the resale market. We aim to sell your items at the highest price so you make the most money while also being competitive so that your items sell as quickly as possible. We look at similar items sold across multiple platforms. For luxury handbag we authenticate and research based on the designer, style and release date. We use a third-party authentication technology called Entrupy. Entrupy stands behind 100% of their authentications and continuously updates their technology.

Pricing also depends upon quality of the item. Is it New With Tags (NWT); New In The Box (NITB); Not new but never used? Does it show light love or heavy use?

Where do your consignment items show up for sale?

We are very proud of our In-Take Systems which result in high efficiency processing. What does that mean exactly? All items head straight out to our sales floor in a very short amount of time from when they were brought in. All day long our in-take team is processing New Arrivals and our Sales Team is putting those newly tagged New Arrivals out on the sales floor.

Because we have been in business for over 40 years we have a tremendous local following. We have customers who visit our store regularly just to check out New Arrivals. We also have customers who travel a couple hours away from our store on a regular basis to shop our New Arrivals.

We feature New Arrivals and special collection groupings as well as outfits and individual pieces on our Facebook and Instagram.

Additionally we are always putting up new items on our website and multiple times per week emails go out to our large and ever-growing email list featuring items for sale.

We work with an amazing marketing company that specializes in the consignment industry. We have Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Yelp Ads, TV Streaming Ads and we also run frequent postcard campaigns, billboard campaigns and other local and state-wide campaigns that drive thousands of people to our store, website and social media platforms.

How do you know when your consignment items sell?

Check your Consignor Account at any time. ((live link to the Consignor login page))One of the things our Consignors LOVE about consigning with us is they can check their Consignor Account at any time. This is an easy way to track your items and your earnings.

How is Consignment Sustainable?

Consignment stores are sustainable because every item that goes through another cycle of a lifetime (from your closet to another) is another item that is not going through the manufacturing process. Your one item or multiple items that you consign can literally be traced to having a socially and environmentally responsible impact. Water is saved, fossil fuels are saved, oxygen is preserved, water is preserved, landfills are not being used, and yes those adorable sea turtles along with all of marine life subject to ocean waste dumping are all appreciative.

How is Consignment Locally Responsible?

Consignment stores employ locals. Paychecks in the local community keep the cities and towns thriving with local commerce.

Consignment stores primarily source locally, keeping more money in our local communities, supporting our local economies. When shoppers buy, Consignors get paid. Consigning local, shopping local overall supports local businesses and families.
